Mrs. Kari Achatz
Teaching Philosophy and Educational Approach:
My goal as an Art Educator is to not only focus on art production but to teach students about aesthetics, art history and art criticism. Through incorporation of core subject areas into the art room, students will achieve greater comprehension and retention of materials learned throughout the school year. Through art, students will enhance their critical thinking skills allowing them to better understand themselves and the world around them.

Mrs. Linda Wach
Teaching Philosophy and Educational Approach:
I believe it’s imperative to support student reading practices in order to develop a lifelong love of reading. My goal for the Library/Literacy program is to facilitate students in an engaging manner in an attempt for them to read, write, and communicate effectively; objectives that are foundational to their academic achievement. I envision success for all students and will strive to develop critical thinkers in each and every one.
