The kindergarten students are paired with the eighth grade and the pre-K students are paired with the fifth grade as part of this program at Queen of Heaven School. They get together every other week and do projects such as write and read stories, make books, have holiday parties, write letters to Santa, make Advent chains and play games. The students do many fun activities as well as educational ones that form lasting bonds between the children in these grades.
