Welcome back! Mother Nature is getting the best of us this Winter. What is typically the longest month of the year has turned into the shortest instructional month! I spoke with West Senenca Superintendent, Mark Crawford, yesterday. He said that snow days were built into our schedule; however, if we need to take another one this year we would be looking at April 21 (Easter Monday). It’s time to start thinking about Spring!
Thank you to all the families that joined us for the Catholic Schools’ Breakfast last Sunday. What an amazing turn out of school families, parishioners, and new families. A special thanks to our Home School Guild, Marco Cercone and family, and the law firm of Rupp, Baase, Pfalzgraf, Cunningham, & Coppola, LLC.
A special thank you also to all the parents and students that jumped in to help give tours, talk to new families, serve food, or help clean up. Our new families were made to feel welcome in our home thanks to you. The students in school have been helping a great deal as well. Last week over 40 students shadowed with our kids during the day. The feedback from the new students and parents was very positive. We already knew we had great kids and families, we just needed a chance to share it with others.
Congratulations to all Honors and Merit Roll recipients. I was very pleased all the report cards this quarter. Congratulations to our 8th Grade students for getting into their choice of Catholic High Schools. Some were accepted to multiple schools with impressive scholarships! Well done.
God bless us all on this journey together!
