Happy Advent. With less than 8 days left of school before Christmas, things are moving at a rapid pace here in the building. The doors are decorated, the stage is ready and the carols can be heard from the music room. It’s Concert time again! Welcome Christmas is our theme and it, like always, will show off each grade level’s talents. Thanks in advance to our music director, Mr. Texido, for working out our program. Also a thanks to Mrs. Guilino for designing our invitation (yours is coming in the mail!) and program. We also have Mrs. Bloom working hard to get our live streaming equipment up and ready for the big day.
On the day of the concert, the front doors to the building will be open at 7:00AM. Our HSG officers will be raffling off 4 front row seats on that day. Seating will also be available in the loft (great view!) and in the cafeteria if you want a quiet place to view the live streaming. I also heard that our 8th grade parents will be selling pepperoni sticks to benefit their class trip to Chicago.
Please notify the office by Monday, December 12, if your child will require bus transportation on the day of the concert.
There will be NO after school program on this day.
Thanks to everyone that purchased our cookie dough (or magazines). We made a profit of just under $3000 to use for our STREAM equipment and activities. Cookie dough pick up is Thursday (12/8) from 2:15-5:00PM in the cafeteria.
The HSG has extended the candy bar sale until December 16. Please let us know if you want an extra box to sell!
On behalf of Mrs. Teibel and all the staff, I would like to offer our sincerest wishes for a wonderful Christmas holiday and joyous New Year!
God bless us on our journey together, ~Mary Damico, Principal
