Thank you to everyone that came out to support our Food Truck/Tailgate event last Sunday. We had a great turn out and according to our HSG officers, a great profit too! Thank you to the many volunteers that put this event together.
Last weekend we had also had a pet blessing in honor of St. Francis’ Feast Day. Thank you to Fr. Dave for blessing all the dogs and the fish!
Next week marks the 6 week marking period for our students. The first semester is half over. Our teachers are looking forward to seeing everyone (parents only) on October 16 for the Meet the Teachers Night. The event will start in the gym and then move into the classrooms. Please see the Wednesday envelope for a complete schedule and locations of teachers. Due to the fact that it is a school night, I would ask that we honor our teachers’ time and wrap up our night by 8:00.
Next week is also the deadline for the Entertainment Book sales. Please be sure to send your money in or your book back to the office.
Just a reminder that as the weather gets colder, sweaters are not part of the uniform. I spoke with the owner of McKay’s and they still have (and can order) many of our fleeces for sale in both full and ½ zip, adult and youth sizes.
God bless us all on this journey together! ~Mary Damico, Principal
