Happy New Year! Just like that we are almost through the month of January and into the 6th week of the 2nd trimester. We have so many things to be thankful for as we reflect on our annual Open House and Catholic Schools Week next week.
This year our finance team granted us the opportunity to have a class set of Chromebooks in each room. On any given day the server will record 50-100 students logged in and working. Our Primary team has vertically aligned their teachings and have infused center-based learning and some of the ELA modules. Our Home School Guild has managed many fundraisers in the past year to bless us with beautiful stage risers and video and audio equipment to allow us to live stream our events and concerts. Our Building and Grounds committee has allowed for our rooms to be painted and various maintenance projects to be done ahead of schedule. All of these things have made a difference in the things that we are able to do together. I’m blessed to have such amazing, prayerful families. We come to together to lift one another during hard times and celebrate together during good times.
As we prepare to open our registration for the 2017-2018 school year, I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for allowing your child to be part of our program. We have the unique opportunity to have 4 years-olds and 14 years-olds in the same physical space. We believe that we are a family and a place where your child can call home. I hope that you will consider remaining in our family and telling others about our program as well!
Please feel free to join us for our Catholic Schools Week events. The listing was sent home on Friday and can also be found on our website at: http://www.qofhschool.org/family-envelope.html.
God bless us on our journey together.
