The end is finally near! This is our last issue of What’s New at the Q. I hope that you have found this communication to be informative and enjoyable.
Today is the last final exam for our third through eighth graders. I know that they have put forth a lot of effort in studying and preparing for these tests. Tomorrow is our last Mass together. Please join us as we say goodbye to Fr. Dan. Father will be leaving us to serve in the Wellsville area. We wish him many blessings in his new parish.
Congratulations to our Middle School teachers. Last week Business First ranked our school in the top twenty schools in Western New York. Our school was also ranked 12th for our ELA program!
Last week we said goodbye to our 20 Preschoolers and 15 kindergarten students. Next week we say a fond farewell to our 25 eighth grade students. What a busy last few weeks. Before we say goodbye though, we would like to thank the Mendola family and the HSG volunteers that put on our School Picnic. What a great day in the sun!
Our website is being updated with new teacher pages. Please check over the summer! The website also has been updated to include supply lists and summer reading lists. The biggest question on everyone’s mind is: When/How will I know what homeroom I’m in? Answer: As soon as we have the lists ready, teachers will be able to notify/welcome you. I will also have the lists posted (on the front door) in August.
We are also putting together a Parent Directory that will go with our handbook. Please use the link https://docs.google.com/a/qofhschool.org/forms/d/1XHuuiDE64HQewi8ry6QITJL-nFpEYsTozU68wuxefJk/viewform to input the information you want published about your family.
As we begin to approach the summer season, I want to wish everyone a wonderful and restful break. Thank you for taking the journey with me this year.
God bless us all on this journey together! ~Mary Damico, Principal
