Welcome to June! We have made it!
Our first-eighth classes grade are busy preparing for end-of year benchmarks and final exams, and our preschool and kindergarten students are busy preparing for final goodbyes. Where did the time go?
Thank you in advance to The Mendola family for organizing what I’m sure will be a beautiful, sunny, rain-free school picnic. Thanks also to all the parents that have signed up to help us. The staff and students and I are looking forward to a day of fun.
This Thursday we are saying thank you to our HSG President Laurie Radwan and our treasurers Sheila Nowak and Julie Schneggenburger. All three have been a wonderful example of leadership and giving. Their love for the school and the children shine through in their actions. I know it will be hard to replace them, but I appreciate the candidate(s) that have stepped forward to be elected and sworn in.
I hope that if you weren’t at our Spring Concert that you were able to see it electronically. If you are interested in buying the concert on DVD, please send in $5 to the office by June 12.
We continue to pray for Fr. Tom during his recovery. Please also keep in your prayers our Religious Education Director, Barb Maloney as she recovers from surgery.
Finally, we will be saying a fond farewell to our 8th grade teacher Anne Nicastro at the end of the year. Anne is retiring and ready to embrace the next step on her life’s journey.
God bless us all on this journey together! ~Mary Damico, Principal
