Thanks to everyone that came out to our Back to School Picnic! What a great turn out and a wonderful way to start the year! A special thank you to Laurie Radwan, the HSG officers, and all the volunteers that helped make it possible.
As we get into Fall officially we can feel the chill in the air. There are still several polos, and various uniform parts that are available for immediate sale. Please check the Wednesday envelope for a list of the inventory and prices.
All classes are in full swing at this point. The teachers have progressed from the get to know you stage to the get to understand the curriculum stage. It is great to see the learning going on and the different styles of teaching from all of our staff.
Thank you all for your patience as we work through the first 3 weeks. I hope that those of you that are picking up find the procedure a bit easier. We had feedback from people from all the closed schools and public schools to finalize these plans; however, we know that nothing is set in stone and things can be changed as we need them to be. I appreciate all the feedback. Please be careful as you exit the building and into the parking lot.
As was stated on the alert this afternoon, the small electrical fire was put out quickly and the students evacuated according to procedure. The first responders were very prompt and professional as they cared for the building. Most of all my amazing staff was calm and cool and helped keep the kids calm and safe.
God bless us all on this journey together! ~Mary Damico, Principal
