The final newsletter publication was put off so that last minute pictures could be added! Summer is finally upon us! To me, the year flew by. Time tends to move quickly when it is filled with surprises and joy. That has been what this year has brought us. Many surprises in assemblies, academics, athletics, friendships, and community with lots of joyous occasions: 5k Race, STREAM Night, First Communion, Class trip, and more. These memories are ones that connect us together. I have been blessed with so many wonderful families and amazing students. My talented staff has also seen surprises and joy: We have had two new babies and 3 marriage proposals!
Looking into the future, we can only hope the wonderful foundation of these 59 years continues with new families breathing life into our school and helping to build our community. Many of these families will be working the carnival. Please be sure to say hello and introduce yourself. You never know where your next new friend will be! Our positive thoughts, words, and actions will show our school in the best way!
The report cards will be distributed to the students on Tuesday morning (grades 1-7). In the envelope will be the supply list, summer reading and math requirements, the uniform requirements, and the preliminary calendar.
Thank you for taking your time this year to volunteer with us. With your help, our HSG has been able to purchase new risers, copy paper, and teacher supplies. It takes a village to make a strong community.
Thanks especially to our pastor, Fr. Greg, for stepping in and being a huge part of our lives. His quiet leadership can be seen throughout the entire parish, but most especially, here in the school. A person’s time is a very precious thing. Fr. Greg has given so much of his to be with us on a daily basis ~ and for that we are grateful.
Have a safe and relaxing summer! We will see you at the carnival!
God bless us on our journey together, ~Mary Damico, Principal
