Girls Varsity and JV Softball - Grades 4-8

Varsity Softball is generally for 7th and 8th graders (and 6th graders in some cases).  JV Softball is generally for 4th, 5th and 6th graders.

The season runs from late April to early June (weather permitting).  All practices and some games are held at the QOH diamond behind the school.  The number of games depends on the number of teams in the league, but has been usually about 8-10 regular season games and then playoffs.  Volunteers are also needed to maintain and groom the diamond on a weekly (or more frequent) basis.  This is an independent league that is run entirely by the coaches and schools within it.

1) Please send the Permission Form and a $25 check in an envelope marked “Spring Sports Registration Fee” to the school office.  Roster spots cannot be guaranteed if you do not sign up by the end of this school year.

Please also send to the school office a $25 check marked as "Refundable Uniform Deposit."  This deposit will be returned upon receipt of the uniform at the end of the season.

2) Valid Sports Medical Physical Form must also be on file with the School Nurse. If you do not have a valid Sports Physical Form call your child’s Doctor. If your child’s medical form at the school is NOT valid you will be notified. The Medical Sports Physical Form is good for 1 year. If it valid the first day of that sport’s practice it will be considered valid for that sport’s season.

Both forms must be turned into the School Office before any player can practice.
